Wireless?

Just doing a clean up of my files and I found this screen capture off my laptop from last year.

Masquerade

Can you recognise me, what about the other mysterious character? All in good fun for a dinner dance.

Camping in Winter

Not the best time to go camping - especially with the predicted weather last weekend, but the date had been fixed for some time. The camp was with the Australian Air League for one night to complete a fieldcraft badge. All the cadets appeared to have a great time, and the weather did not hinder any of our activities.

Open Day

Open Day was a success, if anything the cold weather may have kept a few people away, but it's good to see the hardwork put in by so many come together with very few problems.

Long Island Iced Tea - revisited

Back in February, I posted on a drink called Long Island Iced Tea.
It didn't get a very good review, but last night a couple of friends bought me one, for my recent birthday, and it was far far better.
Just as potent, but much nicer.

Open Day Organisation

Haven't posted here for over a month.
Usually the first 4-5 weeks of uni in a semester are quiet, with things picking up then. This semester is an exception.
Back in March I put my hand up for the job of co-ordinator of Open Day for the school I am in. The incentive? A bonus 15% on one of the courses.
Anyone who does it for just the marks will seriously regret it after about 2 weeks of the job. The last week has been very hectic. By no means do I do all the work, there is 6 team leaders, 50 on the organising committee, 75 volunteers from all year levels, about 20 academic staff and 20 display projects.
It's a big job but extremely rewarding, Sunday is the day. Picture - busy at work.
