Coffee Machine
It was time to upgrade my old coffee machine. It had worked well for almost 2 years, and I certainly don't want to give the impression that it wasn't good enough to the friends who bought me it for my 21st. It has made hundreds of cups of coffee of good quality and hence has started to show its age.
I've been reading up on coffee machines and the machine I bought uses the "Thermoblock" method of heating the water with a pump, rather than relying on steam pressure from a boiler to create pressure. It means that making coffee is a fair bit quicker now, and I can refill and empty it while it is still warm, without creating an explosion of coffee all over the kitchen.
