End of a summer

Well my summer has come to an end. Today I leave to return to Sweden, this time in Linköping for nearly five months.
It's been six months in Australia and I hope this is the last of my travels for a while, married life awaits :-)
It was one wonderful summer seeing my brother graduate as an officer in the army, then getting engaged. Having six weeks off really recharged my batteries. Most of us in Victoria are just totally shocked by the devestation caused by the February 7 bushfires, fortunately I didn't know anyone affected, but was saddened that the fire has most likely wiped out the spot where Kylie and I were engaged and all the surrounding bushland that we both love so much in Kinglake and Marysville. The fire now threatens areas around where we camped at New Year's and there is still some terrible weather forecasted.
